The Day Program
There are many adults who are cared for by family members on a round-the-clock basis. The caregiver is seldom relieved from this duty, even to run errands. The purpose of our Day Program is to give caregivers an alternative; a way to meet their needs as well as the needs of their loved one. This Day Program can also offer more social contact and genuine peer group interaction and activity. Our program gives the clients an environment and stimulation they need to reach their highest potential.
The Service provides supervised daytime care to adults in a dignified and safe environment. The program is staffed with registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants who care for their clients. The staff provides activities, serves appropriate snacks and refreshments and care for the client’s basic needs as well as rest during the day.
Clients may choose dietary services for their meals, including buffet dining and access to the beauty and barber shop for a minimal fee.
